Welcome to The Edge Mission of Africa (EMA)

As of November 2023, The Edge Mission for Africa (EMA) is a newly developed 501C-3 nonprofit organization.  EMA members have strived to empower and advance African and African American professionals in their careers and communities. EMA envisions a global community of professionals that supports the advancement of African and African American leaders in private, public, and nonprofit sectors. EMA offers African and African American professionals –in leadership tracks and owners in their own business, entrepreneurship, government, and nonprofit– professional development opportunities, networking possibility, and in-person and online support. The EMA network is made up of African and African Americans on similar paths who offer practical advice for others to make the most of their career development. EMA leaders have  strong skills and work endlessly to deter elements that are key determinants to career advancement, while engaging in networking and mentorship as key stepping stones.

TODAY

EMA is an international, professional membership association that  has expanded its services to a l 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with members in the USA and African countries with active local city committees in the USA and Africa. EMA offers admissions counseling, mentorship programs, and professional development activities to our program to better serve our growing number of members.

City Leaders have mentored students, initiated a variety of community service projects, and have hosted countless networking and leadership development opportunities for EMA members and members of their local communities.

EMA envisions a worldwide community of professionals that supports the advancement of African and African American men, women and youth in private, public and non-profit sectors. The EMA is a 501 C-3 non-profit organization with headquarters located in Atlanta, GA. The EMA’s is structured and designed to empower and advance African American men, women & youth professionals in their careers and communities. EMA envisions a global community of professionals that supports the growth of African and African American leaders in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. The EMA provides professionals– who are on leadership tracks across all sectors– with professional development opportunities, networking events, and online and offline programming and training. With the help of The EMA network, members around the world are at the forefront of innovation in their respective industries. The EMA seeks to fill the gap in business management training services available for low-income, underprivileged women, men and youth in the Greater Atlanta Area, the USA and Africa.
