Edge Mission for Africa Programs

The EMA desire is to live in a society that understands, respects, and includes African men, women and youth in mainstream culture by aiding in efforts that improve the representation and inclusion of African and African Americans. The EMA tackles this challenge through the avenues we know best: business ownership and community service. By investing in the African and African America leaders of today and tomorrow, we encourage African and African American professionals to lead by example and break down the barriers that prevent a compassionate, inclusive society.

The Edge Mission for Africa Annual forum (EMAAF)

Occurs annually during the Summer. The EMA Annual Forum EMAAF is a world premier professional conference for African and African Americans. EMAAF is an opportunity to reunite individual EMA members and corporate members with the global organization by sharing professional and leadership tools, techniques, and stories. The EMA goal is to equip our members with value and renewed motivation to achieve their leadership goals at work and enterprises in their respective cities and communities.

The Edge Mission for Africa Webinar Series

Occurring regularly throughout the year, the EMA Webinar Series showcases the talent, skill and expertise within The EMA global network. The webinar series features presenters that share industry best practices and soft skills exclusively to The EMA members through Zoom presentations.

The Edge Mission for Africa Leadership Forum

This event occurs annually during the winter, the EMA Leadership Forum (EMALF) is an annual conference of local and global executive leaders. Each EMALF has onsite leadership development talks, strategic breakout planning sessions, roundtable discussions, and social interactions that provide conversations and sharing of ideas, and experiences with other team members from various locations in the USA and abroad.

Day of Service

Members, partners and friends of The Edge Mission for Africa participate in a day of coordinated service projects, annually. Each EMA City Committee develops service projects of interest, and unique to their individual cities and region.

The Edge Mission for Africa Summer Internship Program

Connects students with qualified, experienced professionals across the USA and abroad. Each Summer, The EMA host events to welcome African and African American men, women and youth interns to the EMA organization and its network sponsored in Atlanta, GA., major cities in the USA and African countries.

The Edge Mission for Africa Consulting Program

Participation in The Edge Mission for Africa Consulting Program provides members with valuable insights, mentorship, and hands-on experience from seasoned, experienced consultants. Members have access to workshops, case studies, and valuable networking events to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills that lead to the pathway of realizing a successful consulting career.

The Edge Mission for Africa Investment Banking Program

Receive expert industry knowledge, guidance, and practical skill training from accomplished bankers and investors. Engage in specially designed workshops, networking opportunities and real-work world based situations, that facilitate the development of a sound foundation based on acquiring the required skills necessary to thrive in investment banking.
